Electric vehicle fans will be able to get an up-close look at Rivian’s upcoming models.

The all-new R2, which is launching for the 2026 model year, is on a North American tour and has a pair of stops planned in Canada in early 2025.

Rivian also plans to showcase the upcoming R3X at both of those Canadian stops.

The Rivian R2 and R3X will be displayed at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto from Feb. 19 to 23 and then at the Vancouver International Auto Show from March 19 to 23. It should be noted the Toronto auto show runs longer than Rivian’s planned R2 display, as it happens from Feb. 14 to 23.

Rivian also notes that its latest R1S and R1T will be at these events.

The 2026 Rivian R2 will have a starting Canadian price of $66,500, placing it at a lower price than what the automaker currently has in its lineup.

Even so, the five-seat SUV is expected to offer some incredible performance. Depending on the trim selected, the SUV is expected to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in less than three seconds and electric range is estimated at more than 480 kilometres.

More information on the R2 is available on the Rivian website.
