Automobili Lamborghini is on pace to break its own sales record in 2024 – that’s after the current record was set only last year.
The automaker of sports cars and sports SUVs reported that is has delivered 8,411 vehicles through the first three-quarters of the year, which is an 8.6 per cent increase over the same period in 2023.
In all of 2023, Lamborghini delivered 10,112 vehicles. During the first nine months of 2024, the automaker has already delivered 83 per cent of the 2023 total.
Besides showing its best sales numbers, Lamborghini is also seeing record numbers for revenues and operating profit through the first nine months of 2024, with revenues of 2.4 billion euros (20.1 per cent increase over same time in 2023) and an operating profit of 678 million euros (up 9.8 per cent over same period in 2023).
“The extremely positive performance we are seeing is the result of an unprecedented chapter for Automobili Lamborghini, marked by the introduction of three new cars in just 18 months and culminating in the significant milestone of fully hybridizing our range with the presentation of the Lamborghini Temerario,” company chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said in a news release. “This is a crucial moment for the company, highlighting the importance and impact of the transformation we are experiencing.”
The company currently sells Revuelto, a V12-powered hybrid-electric supercar, the Urus SUV, which is available as a gasoline-only or hybrid model, and the V10-powered Huracán super sports car, which is being replaced by the V8-powered hybrid-electric Temerario.
When Lamborghini broke its sales record in 2023, the Urus SUV accounted for more than half of total sales with more than 6,000 deliveries.
Lamborghini says all models are in high demand, with the wait time for the Revuelto now exceeding two years, while the order bank for Urus SE hybrid SUV, which launched in April, covers all of 2025 production.
