Cadillac hasn’t yet announced Canadian pricing for its newest SUV, but it’s whetting potential buyers’ appetite by providing fresh details about its upcoming all-electric three-row model.
The Vistiq is launching as a 2026 model with production set to start in early 2025 at General Motors’ Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
The model will be sold globally.
“Cadillac continues to set the standard for American luxury. The introduction of Vistiq will continue to propel us into the EV future,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac, in a news release. “With the addition of Vistiq, Cadillac will be one of the only brands to offer an EV entry in every luxury SUV segment.”

Cadillac says the luxury SUV is spacious for passengers in all three rows and offers technology for an elevated experience. This includes a standard 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system with Dolby Atmos, standard Super Cruise capability, which is a subscription-based hands-free driver assistance system, and more.
As for the electric propulsion system, the Vistiq comes with a standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a 102-kWh battery pack and a system output of 615 hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
This three-row SUV is said to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds when Velocity Max is engaged.
The Vistiq also features standard chassis damping control and an available air ride adaptive suspension, for a smooth ride.

“From the start, it was our team’s goal to deliver a three-row SUV that provides exhilarating performance and intuitive technology, wrapped in the brand’s iconic design language,” said Jeff MacDonald, North American chief engineer, Cadillac Vistiq, in the release. “Bold, yet refined, the Vistiq provides a comfortable ride with smooth handling, delivering a sense of isolated precision.”
Other features include road noise cancelling as well as available active rear steer and wheel size choices of 21, 22 and 23 inches.
While not as large as the Escalade IQ, there’s a family resemblance between the two models, including a swept-back windshield, Cadillac’s Black Crystal Shield grille, vertical lights in the front and rear, and more.
Luxury meets the occupants inside.
Cadillac calls the third row comfort-conscious with features such as padded armrests, smartphone storage, cupholders and USB chargers.

The interior seating is also reconfigurable for improved storage.
Interior materials include carbon fibre deco trim, lumen open pore wood on Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, black ash cluster wood decors on the Platinum trim and available patterned accent fabric woven from yarn made from recycled materials on the Premium Luxury trim.
There’s also intelligent five-zone climate control, a 33-inch diagonal LED screen, and jewel-like speaker grilles with a geometric pattern that is unique to the Vistiq.
There’s also a host of safety technology, including standard OnStar Automatic Crash Repsonse and available Night Vision, which features an infrared sensor for driving at night to help the driver spot pedestrians or animals directly ahead.
