Toyota calls the Corolla a car for everyone and the automaker isn’t kidding around with that statement.

The 2025 Corolla sedan is available in 10 different trim levels, which includes a pair of powertrains, with the top and bottom grades being separated by nearly $13,000 in price. That doesn’t even include the fact the Corolla is available as a hatchback, nor the GR Corolla hot hatch.

Let’s take a look at the Corolla sedan lineup.

Toyota’s popular compact sedan is available with a gasoline powertrain featuring a 2-litre four-cylinder engine, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive with a power output of 169 hp and 151 lb.-ft. of torque.

The hybrid models are available with a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, a high-torque electric motor-generator system and lithium-ion battery with a total system output of 138 hp. The powertrain is connected to an electronically controlled CVT and is available with front-wheel drive or as an all-wheel-drive model featuring rear-mounted electric motors to power the rear wheels when needed. Fuel efficiency is rated as low as 4.4L/100km in city-highway combined on the most fuel-efficient models.

All Corolla models feature Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, 10 airbags and an anti-theft system with an engine immobilizer.
