The Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid SUV is coming to Canada, set to arrive at dealerships near the end of this year.
The 2025 compact luxury SUV has an EPA estimated electric range of up to 87 kilometres.
The GLC 350e features a powertrain with a total system output of 313 hp and 406 lb.-ft. of torque, including an electric motor with 134 hp powered by a 24.8-kWh battery, and a turbocharged 2-litre inline-four engine producing 201 hp.
When driving the SUV in Hybrid drive mode, the system prioritizes the vehicle’s electric propulsion, which enables an all-electric driving experience in most situations.
When using a 60-kW DC charger, a full battery charge could be achieved in as little as 30 minutes, Mercedes-Benz Canada said in a news release.
The GLC 350e will be available in Standard, Exclusive and Pinnacle trims. All models get the same powertrain and standard all-wheel drive.
Standard equipment includes a self-levelling suspension system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Keyless-Go and Keyless-Start, centre airbag between the front seats and more.
The SUV also comes with the third generation Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), an infotainment system with available in-car apps. New for the latest generation MBUX is a Routines function.

The Exclusive trim adds:
- MB Navigation
- Parking Package with Surround View 360 Camera
- Guard 360 with picture taking functionality
- Enhanced ambient lighting
- Illuminated door sills
The Pinnacle trim adds:
- Burmester 3D Surround System with Sound Personalization
- Head-up display
- Digital Light
- Heat and noise insulating glass
There are 11 exterior colours to choose from, 13 upholstery options and six wheel designs, including two that are exclusive to the GLC 350e.
Canadian pricing is as follows:
- Standard – $69,738
- Exclusive – $73,538
- Pinnacle – $77,238
The prices above are the all-in prices, includes fees and levies, which may vary slightly region to region. Tax is extra. The base manufacturer’s suggest retail price is $64,900.
This is the second plug-in hybrid available from Mercedes-Benz as the company already sells the larger GLE 450e SUV in Canada.
