Toyota Canada has announced the pricing for the sporty 2025 Toyota GR Corolla.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price starts at $47,915. More on pricing further down.

The hot hatch is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre three-cylinder engine that pumps out 300 hp at 6,500 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The torque figure has been raised by 20 lb.-ft. over the previous year.

The model features the rally racing-developed GR-FOUR all-wheel-drive system and can be had with a six-speed manual transmission, or, new this year, an eight-speed Gazoo Racing direct automatic transmission (DAT). The automatic is only available with the Premium trim, and features four drive modes: Sport, Normal Eco and Custom.

While built to go fast, the GR Corolla also includes a host of safety features, including Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, road sign assist and automatic high beams.

Standard features include an eight-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a customizable layout.

Three trims

The three available trims are:

• The Core M/T features brake cooling ducts, GR-logoed fabric sport seats, heated steering wheel and heated front seats, 18-inch 15-spoke cast alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, active noise control, active sound control, front and rear limited slip Torsen differentials, red “GR” calipers, GR-FOUR stamped side rockers and wide-fender flares, with available colours of black and white.
• The Premium M/T adds a carbon fibre roof, vented bulge hood and matte black wheels, gloss-black front grille and rear bumper lower cover with functional air vents, GR-logoed Brin Naub suede-trimmed seats with red stitching, a JBL Premium Audio system with eight speakers, a Qi-compatible wireless charger, and dual-zone automatic climate control, a new head-up display, front and rear parking sensors and a sub-radiator, with available colours of white, Heavy Metal, black, and Supersonic Red.
• The Premium with DAT adds the eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control and an intelligent clearance sonar.

Pricing

Estimated Canadian pricing is as follows:

• Core M/T – $51,475 (MSRP of $47,915 plus fees and levies)
• Premium M/T – $59,477 (MSRP of $55,917 plus fees and levies)
• Premium DAT – $61,697 (MSRP of $58,137)
