The 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback is now available for sale in Canada with dealership arrivals beginning this month.

The hatchback, like its sedan sibling, was refreshed for 2025, including the availability of a hybrid powertrain.

Besides the new powertrain option, the car features sportier styling and new technology.

In terms of sportiness, Honda says the ride and handling of all hybrid models has been optimized with unique spring and damper tuning and a specially developed tire. The hybrid models also have the lowest noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) of the entire Civic lineup. The noise reduction package includes active noise control on all hybrid models and wheel resonators on the top-trim Sport Touring Hybrid models.

Safety features were enhanced for 2025 as well, including the Collision Mitigation Braking System with Pedestrian Detection receiving increased visibility for motorcycles and bicycles.

The hatchback is available in gasoline-only Sport trim and two hybrid trims, Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid.

The Sport model is powered by a 2-litre four-cylinder engine with 150 hp and 133 lb.-ft. of torque and with a fuel economy rating (city/highway/combined) of 7.7/6.1/7 L/100 km.

The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid are powered by an electrified 1.5-litre turbo engine with 200 hp and 232 lb.-ft. of torque, and with a fuel economy rating of (city/highway/combined) of 4.8/5.4/5 L/100 km.

• Sport – $33,416 (MSRP of $31,400 plus fees and levies)
• Sport Hybrid – $37,205 (MSRP of $35,200 plus fees and levies)
• Sport Touring Hybrid – $40,705 (MSRP of $38,700 plus fees and levies)
