Ford has updated the Bronco Sport for 2025 and among the additions is the availability of the Sasquatch off-road package.
The Bronco Sport is a small SUV. Its larger sibling, the Bronco, already had the Sasquatch package available, and now customers can option their Bronco Sport models with it too.
The Sasquatch package is available in both the Outer Banks model, which is powered by a 1.5-litre engine, and the Badlands model, which is powered by a 2-litre engine.
The Sasquatch package adds what Ford describes as an ultra-rugged twin-clutch rear-drive unit and locking rear differential to the Outer Banks model (it was previously only available on the Badlands model).
The package also adds larger Goodyear Territory All Terrain tires, measuring 235/65/R17. These tires were adapted from the Bronco and feature an open-road design with reinforced sidewalls to provide traction across various surfaces.
The package also adds new Bilstein rear shocks with position-sensitive damping and piggyback reservoirs. These provide a wider ranger of compression and rebound damping.
There are new front and rear springs to increase ride height, with the Badlands Sasquatch model having up to 8.3 inches of front suspension travel and 8.7 inches in the rear, which is 0.6 inch of more travel over the Badlands model.
The Sasquatch package also adds a standard front brush guard, steel skid plates and modular, accessory-ready front and rear bumpers, which have steel bash plates as the first point of contact.
For off-road recovery, the model gets two cast accessory-ready tow hooks in the front and two cast D-rings on the rear bumper.
The Bronco Sport gets a host of other updates beyond the Sasquatch model. You can check it all out on the Ford Canada website.
