GMC has revealed the 2025 Yukon full-size SUV, which features an upgraded interior, new exterior design and an all-new trim level, the AT4 Ultimate.
“Following the all-new GMC Acadia and next-gen GMC Terrain, the addition of the updated 2025 GMC Yukon completes GMC’s reimagined SUV lineup,” said Duncan Aldred, global vice president, Buick and GMC, in a news release. “We’re raising the bar on what our customers expect from GMC’s flagship and the addition of the AT4 Ultimate trim fuses ruggedness and capability with craftsmanship and refinement.”
The 2025 Yukon is available with a 6.2-litre V8 engine producing 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission or a 3-litre Duramax turbo-diesel with 305 hp and 495 lb.-ft. of torque.
Towing capacity is 8,400 pounds.

The interior gets new luxury and technology features, including a 16.8-inch vertical infotainment screen, which can display maps, audio inputs, vehicle diagnostics and more.
There’s also an available eight-inch diagonal rear climate control touchscreen.
The exterior gets a new grille, liftgate badging, animated headlamps and taillamps and there’s also an available panoramic sunroof.
The top-level model, the Denali Ultimate, features exclusive 24-inch eight-spoke machined wheels with laser etching, which is a first for the Yukon, as well as 16-way power heated and ventilated massaging front seats and second-row captain’s chairs, new interior wood decor with open pore laser etched topographical patterns, chrome accents and leather rim steering wheel accents, and a Bose Performance Series sound system with 18 speakers (22 speakers with available second-row executive seating).

The all-new AT4 Ultimate trim gets a front skid plate, 20-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, an air ride adaptive suspension that can raise the vehicle up to two inches to improve ground clearance, an Obsidian Rush interior with full-grain leather seating and Ash Burl wood accents, and a new unique leather seat style and leather rim steering wheel accents.
GMC Canada expects the 2025 Yukon to be available by the end of 2024. Full model details can be found on the GMC website. Pricing will be available closer to the start of production.
