
The next generation of the Nissan Kicks compact crossover promises to be more vehicle than the outgoing model, but it will also make a bigger impact on its buyers’ pocketbooks.
The 2025 Nissan Kicks has launched in Canada with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $27,199, an increase of $4,851 over the lowest priced 2024 model, which has a starting MSRP of $22,348. The MSRP doesn’t include fees, levies or taxes.
Every grade of the Kicks is now available with intelligent all-wheel drive, which is a first for the Kicks.
The all-new Kicks is larger and roomier than the outgoing model, offering increased front and rear shoulder room, rear-seat knee room and even the front cup holders are designed to hold 30-ounce coffee tumblers. Total cargo capacity is up to 849.5 litres with the seats raised or 1,699.6 litres with them lowered, and there’s an additional small, hidden storage compartment below the trunk floor.
The entry level trim, the S, comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, intelligent cruise control, all-LED exterior lighting and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The top-of-the-line model, the SR, features 19-inch alloy wheels, headlights with a unique LED signature lamp, two-tone interior stitching and gloss black exterior mirrors, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, ProPILOT Assist and Intelligent Around View Monitor for a 360-degree bird’s-eye view around the vehicle. Additional available features include a panoramic sunroof and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
The Kicks is powered by a 2-litre inline-four engine rated at 141 hp and 140 lb.-ft. of torque.
MSRP pricing for each trim is as follows:
- Kicks S FWD – $27,199
- Kicks S AWD – $29,199
- Kicks SV FWD – $28,749
- Kicks SV AWD – $30,748
- Kicks SR Premium AWD – $34,899
An available SV Premium Package, if selected, adds $800 to the price as does the available SR Premium Sport Wheel Package.
