The Acura RDX performance SUV has received a new grille and other updates for the 2025 model year.

Acura Canada says the vehicle gets a new “frameless” Diamond Pentagon grille and aggressive grille mesh for what it calls a more distinctive look.

The interior also gets new updates.

The SUV gets a redesigned centre console with more storage, large cup holders and easier access to the wireless smartphone charger.

The standard 10.2-inch HD centre display now gets a new widescreen mode for its wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

“The Acura RDX has been an incredible success, with nearly 780,000 sold in North America since it first came to market in 2006,” said James Marchand, assistant vice president of Acura Canada in a news release. “With the recent addition of the ZDX, updates to our popular MDX and RDX models, and the anticipated introduction of the ADX in the future, the Acura performance SUV lineup has never been stronger as we continue to deliver on our commitment to advancing Precision Crafted Performance throughout the Acura lineup.”

The SUV is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged VTEC four-cylinder engine with 272 hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque, and features a 10-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive with true torque vectoring.

The 2025 RDX is expected to start arriving at Canadian dealerships in October.
