Cadillac unveiled its SOLLEI Concept, a 2+2 convertible that is described as a vision of bespoke luxury and a showcase of custom commissioned vehicle design.

The electric vehicle’s name is an amalgam of the words “sol” for sun and “lei” for leisure, which represents Cadillac’s inspiration for sunny, leisurely lifestyles, the automaker said in a news release.

Cadillac also noted the imaginative design exercise pushes the boundaries of future bespoke commissions, tailored to reflect the unique passions and interests of its clientele.

The SOLLEI was unveiled at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, a newly restored, state-of-the-art facility at GM’s technical centre campus in Warren, Michigan, which is dedicated to providing a bespoke client experience for Cadillac’s Celestiq customers.

“SOLLEI reimagines the discovery of travel, envisioning a personalized and concierge driving experience that intimately connects with the world around us,” said Erin Crossley, design director for Cadillac Celestiq, in a news release. “By exploring clients’ design aspirations, SOLLEI cultivates high luxury through limitless, artfully designed expressions, elevating experiences beyond travel.”

I could tell you more, but the pictures from Cadillac will speak for themselves.

You’ll notice the exterior is finished in Manilla Cream, which Cadillac originally used in 1957 and 1958.

Cadillac’s 55-inch pillar-to-pillar screen is also present across the width of the dashboard, giving the car a modern touch.

But there’s also unstained wood veneer and open pore finishes on interior surfaces, giving the car that timeless classic feel.
