Canadian pricing for the new 2025 Genesis GV80 SUV has been announced and the base price undercuts its sibling GV80 Coupe’s price by nearly $30,000.

Pricing for the GV80 starts at $75,000.

The GV80 received exterior design updates for the 2025 model year, as well as an interior redesign.

Genesis says the new GV80 elevates the experience for drivers and passengers.

“The 2025 GV80 brings a new level of elevated cabin experience to the Genesis SUV lineup, making all occupants feel like honoured guests,” said Eric Marshall, director of Genesis Motors Canada, in a news release. “Its new 27-inch widescreen display and array of new interior colours, materials, and finishes introduce an even greater sense of elegance to GV80.”

The 2025 GV80 comes with two powertrain options. There’s a gasoline 2.5-litre turbo inline-four engine with 300 hp, or the gasoline 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, with a maximum output of 375 hp.

Canadian pricing is as follows:

• GV80 2.5T Advanced 5-seat – $75,000
• GV80 2.5T Advanced 5-seat (with Tech Package) – $80,000
• GV80 3.5T Advanced 7-seat (with Tech Package) – $85,000
• GV80 3.5T Prestige 7-seat – $95,500

All versions receive all-wheel drive, a 27-inch OLED instrument cluster and navigation touchscreen, over-the-air software updates, fingerprint authentication system, USB Type-C ports, front four-piston fixed monobloc brake calipers, and two-line headlamps with micro lens array technology.

The list of equipment rises with each higher trim level.

The 2025 GV80 is officially on sale already in Canada.

For comparison’s sake, the GV80 Coupe, an entirely new model for 2025, starts at $104,000. It’s an SUV with a sloping roofline for a sportier look and feel, but it also comes with a more powerful engine that produces 409 hp, and the price includes a five-year care plan.
