
Honda Canada has announced the pricing for the 2025 Civic, including the all-new Civic Hybrid.
The starting MSRP for the hybrid is $33,300.
“The new Honda Civic has generated a lot of excitement, and we’re confident that the highly anticipated Civic Hybrid will be an excellent addition to this iconic nameplate,” said Emile Korkor, assistant vice president of Honda sales and marketing, in a news release. “Honda has already energized the hybrid-electric market with the CR-V Hybrid and Accord Hybrid. Now, the new Honda Civic Hybrid joins our electrified lineup at the perfect time, offering an ideal balance of performance and fuel efficiency that delivers a truly enjoyable driving experience, complementing these current model offerings including our all-electric Honda Prologue.”
For the 2025 model year, the Civic (excluding Si or Type-R models) features two gasoline-only trims, and two hybrid trims.
Pricing is as follows:
- LX: $29,520 (MSRP of $27,540 plus fees and levies)
- Sport: $33,416 (MSRP of $31,400 plus fees and levies)
- Sport Hybrid: $35,305 (MSRP of $33,300 plus fees and levies)
- Sport Touring Hybrid: $38,805 (MSRP of $36,800 plus fees and levies)
The hybrid features a 2-litre four-cylinder engine and two electric motors producing 200 hp and 232 lb.-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is rated at 4.7/5.1/4.9 L/100 km (city/highway/combined).
The non-hybrid Civic gets a 2-litre four-cylinder engine with 150 hp and 133 lb.-ft. of torque. On the LX, fuel economy is rated at 7.4/5.8/6.7 L/100 km. On the Sport, fuel economy is rated at 7.6/6.0/6.9 L/100 km.
The new Civic is expected to arrive at dealerships later this summer.
Honda Canada adds that the updated 2025 Civic Si and Type-R will revealed in the coming months.
