The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is expected to arrive at Canadian dealerships later this summer.

The Crown Signia is a new Toyota vehicle, building on the Crown name, which has been in use for decades, but whereas the Crown is a luxury sedan, this one is an SUV.

The Crown Signia will be available in a single trim level in Canada, called Limited, which has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $57,450, estimated at $61,081 with freight PDI and various fees and charges, not including taxes.

A Limited with Advanced Technology Package starts at $59,525 ($63,156 with fees and levies).

The Crown Signia is powered by a 2.5-litre DOHC four-cylinder hybrid powertrain with a nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery. Total output is 240 hp and fuel consumption is rated at 6.0/6.3/6.2 L/100 km (City/Highway/Combined).

“As Toyota celebrates 60 years in Canada in 2024, we’re excited to introduce Canadians to the newest member of the Crown family – a nameplate that was among the first we brought to Canada all those decades ago,” said Cyril Dimitris, vice president, Toyota Canada Inc. “This all-new model embraces all the best qualities of the sophisticated and electrified Crown sedan we introduced in 2023 – then adds even more functionality and versatility. This makes the Toyota Crown Signia a thoroughly modern take on a legendary wagon – and as the Crown’s first foray into the Canadian SUV market, it’s more than ready to shake up the segment and welcome more Canadians to the Toyota family.”

The Crown Signia features a sleek design with a low and sweeping roofline and is intended to have a car-like driving feel with the functionality of an SUV.

All-wheel drive is standard and the SUV comes with three selectable drive modes.
