Ahead of Bugatti’s June 20 reveal of its next car, the French automaker is letting us hear the car’s engine roar.

Bugatti recently shipped off the 500th and final Chiron with its power load of a W16 engine.

The next car will feature a V16 hybrid, but not much else is known, particularly how much power the powertrain will produce, so we’ll have to wait.

Until then, have a listen to the new V16 engine’s roar, in this YouTube video released by Bugatti.

In a news release, Bugatti said the next car has a completely bespoke design, built from the ground up on the three pillars of beauty, luxury and performance, inspired by past Bugatti models.

“The Type 57 SC Atlantic, the Type 41 Royale and the Type 35, respectively known as the most beautiful, the most luxurious and the most successful Grand Prix race car ever, each lend their DNA to create a pure and authentic reinterpretation of the Bugatti brand,” a June 4 news release says.

“An all-new chassis and performance-honed body encompass an all-new V16 engine and electrified powertrain, representing a coming together of timeless mechanical craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology,” the news release adds.
