It seems the designers at Jeep wanted a vehicle that’s capable of doing everything.
And, it looks like they’ve achieved it with the all-new Wagoneer S, a battery-electric SUV that can travel long distances on a single charge, has sports car-like acceleration, can be taken off-road, and has space for a whole lotta stuff in a package that is elegant inside and out.
But Jeep’s first global battery-electric vehicle doesn’t come cheap.
The all-new 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is launching with a Canadian price that starts at $91,790 (MSRP of $88,995 plus fees). Once you add tax to that, you’re looking at a price of a little more than $100,000.
Here are some highlights of the Wagoneer S.
The SUV comes with a powertrain with 600 hp and 617 lb.-ft. of torque, plus 4xe (the electric equivalent of 4×4).
Jeep says the SUV will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
The estimated driving range is more than 480 kilometres on a single charge.
A Jeep brand-exclusive Selec-Terrain traction management system features five drive modes: Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow and Sand, for all weather and road conditions.

The Wagoneer S will debut with the Launch Edition that features a reimagined seven-slot illuminated grille, 20-inch wheels and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The Lauch Edition will include exclusive dark accent cues, Gloss Black wheels and Gloss Black and dark neutral grey exterior elements.
On the inside, occupants will find 45 inches of screen space, including an interactive front passenger screen, as well as heated and ventilated front and rear seats and a 19-speaker, 1,200-watt McIntosh audio system.
“The launch of the all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S marks a new chapter in the storied history of the Jeep brand,” said Antonio Filosa, Jeep brand CEO, in a news release. “Building upon nearly a century of innovation and design, this first global EV will introduce a whole new generation of owners to an experience that is distinctly Jeep and 100 per cent electric in every way. With new energy in the Jeep vehicle lineup, ranging from EV to V8, customers have never had more freedom to choose their own adventure.”
The Wagoneer S sits on the BEV-native STLA Large platform.
Electric drive modules independently power the front and rear wheels for instant torque response, the automaker says.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S will first be available at dealerships in Quebec and British Columbia, starting this fall and will become available in other provinces as production ramps up.
