2025 Lexus NX models now available in Canada

The midsize SUV is available as the NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h and NX 450h+

It’s still early into 2024, but Lexus is letting Canadians move into next year as it has begun selling the 2025 model year NX midsize SUVs.

The NX is available with a variety of powertrain choices, including gasoline only, hybrid and plug-in hybrid, with starting manufacturer’s suggested retail prices ranging from $50,815 to $77,265, not including fees, levies and taxes.

Here are the powertrains available:

  • The NX 250 features a 2.5 L four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed direct shift automatic transmission, with 203 ho and up to 184 lb.-ft. of torque, with a fuel efficiency rating of 8.4L/100km (city/highway combined).
  • The NX 350 features a 2.4 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with intercooling and active noise control, and an eight-speed direct shift automatic transmission, with 275 hp and up to 317 lb.-ft. of torque.Fuel efficiency is rated at 9.5L/100km (city/highway combined).
  • The NX 350h comes with a self-charging hybrid electric powertrain featuring a 2.5 L four-cylinder engine and electronic continuously variable transmission. This model has 240 hp, the added torque of electric motors, and a fuel efficiency rating of 6L/100km (city/highway combined).
  • The NX 450h+ features a plug-in hybrid electric powertrain, featuring a 2.5 L four-cylinder engine, an electronic continuously variable transmission, and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery. It has 304 hp with a fuel efficiency rating of 2.8 Le/100 km (city/highway combined). It has a 60-kilometre electric-only range.

All NX models feature all-wheel drive and Lexus Safety System 3.0, as well as other standard safety systems, including active front headrests with whiplash protection, a back-up camera with back guide monitor, a blind spot monitor system with rear cross-traffic alert, digital latch with safe exit assist, and eight airbags.

There are a number of trim levels to choose from. Trims and starting MSRP for each are:

  • NX 250 Signature – $50,815
  • NX 350 Premium – $54,470
  • NX 350 Luxury – $59,149
  • NX 350 Ultra Luxury – $63,117
  • NX 350 Executive – $68,383
  • NX 350 F Sport 1 – $59,290
