
Buick has updated its Envision compact SUV for the 2024 model year, which now comes with a new design a host of technology.
The 2024 Envision is expected to be available at Canadian dealerships this summer.
“Buick owners expect beautiful design, purposeful technology and safe, efficient vehicles,” said Duncan Aldred, global vice president, Buick and GMC, in a news release from Buick Canada. “We’ve raised the bar for all those attributes and more with the new 2024 Envision, delivering the best compact SUV in Buick history. With our freshest tech, features and style, the Envision follows in the footsteps of the wildly popular Envista that launched last year and continues to build on Buick’s momentum.”
The Envision gets a new grille and front fascia with the brand’s updated, body-mounted emblem on a new hood, checkmark LED headlights and taillights, and a sculpted design inspired by the Wildcat EV concept.
There are three trims to choose from, the Preferred, ST and Avenir. The ST and Avenir come with 20-inch alloy wheels. The Preferred gets 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Envision cmoes with a 30-inch diagonal, ultrawide touchscreen display that stretches from the centre console to the gauge cluster, with customizable freeform screens. There’s also Google Assistant.
Standard safety features include advanced adaptive cruise control, intersection automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian and bicycle braking, rear cross traffic braking, HD surround vision, blind zone steering assist, IntelliBeam auto high beams and more.
Buick’s Technology I package incldues a nine-speaker Bose audio system and a heads-up display.
The SUV features a 2 L turbocharged ECOTEC engine with 228 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque connected to an all-wheel-drive system via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Canadian pricing starts at $45,6704 for Preferred, $47,8704 for the ST, and $53,770 for the Avenir, not including fees and taxes.
