Acura Canada has announced pricing for its first all-electric vehicle, the 2024 Acura ZDX.

The new SUV will arrive at dealerships in the coming months, the company announced.

There are two variants available in 2024. The A-Spec has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price starting at $84,990 ($88,560 including fees and levies), and the Type S starts at $91,490 ($94,760 including fees and levies).

The A-Spec model features a dual motor all-wheel-drive setup with up to 490 hp and up to 437 lb.-ft. of maximum torque. Driving range on a full charge is rated at up to 489 kilometres.

The Type S model also has a dual motor all-wheel-drive setup, but this one has up to 500 hp and 544 lb.-ft. of torque, which the company points out is more torque than in the Acura NSX Type S supercar. The ZDX Type S has a driving range estimated at up to 447 kilometres.

“This is a historic moment for Acura Canada as we welcome the all-new Acura ZDX to our lineup, our first fully electric vehicle for a zero emissions future,” said James Marchand, assistant vice president, Acura Canada, in a news release. “Our Acura dealer network is ready and we can’t wait for our customers to get behind the wheel and experience our unwavering commitment to ensure Acura’s precision crafted performance is maintained in the electrified era.”

The ZDX comes with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, and features a Bang & Olufsen luxury audio system, which the company says will be expanded to the entire Acura lineup.

The Type S is available with a black painted roof, Brembo high-performance brakes, and height adjustable air suspension. The Type S also comes with the largest ever Acura wheels, 22-inch machine-finished rims wearing 275/40R22 self-sealing tires.

Other optional features on the ZDX include a panoramic sunroof, Jewel Eye LED headlights, perforated Milano leather seats and hands-free cruise control.
