
Mercedes-Benz has announced the Canadian pricing for its mid-size luxury sedan, which is available with multiple trim levels and engine options.
The E 350 4MATIC features a 2 L inline-four cylinder turbo engine, while the E 450 4MATIC features a 3 L inline-six cylinder turbo engine. The E 350 has 255 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque while the E 450 has 375 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque.
Both engines feature mild hybrid technology and are connected to an all-wheel-drive system via a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing starts as follow as follows:
- E 350 Premium (standard) trim: $78,735 (base MSRP of $73,900 plus fees and additional charges)
- E 450 Premium trim: $88,735 (base MSRP of $83,900 plus fees and additional charges)
- E 350 Pinnacle trim: $83,235 (base MSRP of $78,400 plus fees and additional charges)
- E 450 Pinnacle trim: $93,235 (base MSRP of $88,400 plus fees and additional charges)
The model shown in the picture is the European 2024 E 350 with optional AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels, which would retail at $79,840 (base MSRP of $73,900, plus fees and additional charges).
The all-new E-Class is said to feature high-quality interior surfaces, including a fine-grain finish.
There’s a high-resolution 14.4-inch central multimedia display, which floats in the centre of the dashboard. An optional MBUX Superscreen Package adds a 12.3-inch front passenger display with a privacy function for the passenger display along with a selfie and video camera.
Standard equipment includes a panoramic sliding sunroof, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, Keyless-Go, MBUX Navigation Premium, 64-colour ambient lighting, the central multimedia screen mentioned above, blind-spot assist, active parking assist with Parktronic and more.
There’s an available Burmester 4D Surround Sound with Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio featuring 17 speakers (including speakers in the headliner), 15 amplifier channels and a total output of 730 watts.
The car is slightly larger than the outgoing model, featuring five millimetres more headroom, a two-centimetre-longer wheelbase with knew room and maximum legroom increased by 10 and 17 millimetres, respectively.
Mercedes-Benz says the elbow width in the rear is no 1,519 millimetres, which is almost equal to the full-size S-Class. Luggage capacity is 540 litres.
