Prospective Jeep Wrangler buyers have one last chance to buy a brand-new version of the off-road SUV with the 6.4 L Hemi engine.
The engine is being discontinued with 2024 being the final model year of a number of Chrysler vehicles with the engine.
In the Jeep Wrangler, the Hemi V8 produces 470 hp and 470 lb.-ft. of torque.
To commemorate the final year of production, Stellantis released a limited-production 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition.
The Final Edition includes a standard 8,000-pound Warn winch, half-inch suspension lift for a total of 29.4 centimetres of ground clearance and 87.6 centimetres of water fording, along with heavy duty rock sliders, an 83-piece took kit and triple hoop grille guard.
The Final Edition also includes unique appearance features, including exclusive hood and fender vent decals, black Nappa leather-trimmed seats with Mayan Gold and Tupelo accents and specially monogrammed shifter medallion and swing gate plaque.
These features are on top of all the enhancements the Rubicon 392 has over standard Wrangler models.
The automaker says the Wrangler Rubicon 392 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 13 seconds.
“Jeep Wrangler 392 remains atop the mountain in terms of all-out performance, power and unmatched capability. These are game-changing strengths that our most impassioned Jeep enthusiasts asked us for, and that the competition was unable to match,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America, in a news release. “To celebrate the existence of this powerhouse, we’re sending the raucous, 392-powered Wrangler off in style with this special Final Edition, limited to just 3,700 units globally.”
Production of the Final Edition is set to begin in the second quarter of 2024.
