Infiniti has unwrapped the next generation of its flagship, full-size, luxury SUV.
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 is planned to go on sale sometime this summer, Infiniti Canada says.
“Infiniti has always sought to raise the bar in automotive luxury, going beyond the vehicles themselves to provide a truly satisfying, total ownership experience,” said Craig Keeys, group vice president, Infiniti Americas, in a news release. “The all-new 2025 Infiniti QX80 is the ultimate expression of bold design, first-ever technologies and detailed craftsmanship, and we believe it reestablishes the standard for full-size luxury SUVs.”
Here’s a glance at some of the features available in the vehicle:
- Front Wide View
- My Parking Locations
- Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio
- Remote control rear seat
- Biometric cooling
- In-camera cooling
- Heated third-row seats
- Dual 14.3-inch monolith style displays
- Individual audio
- Flush door handles
- Invisible hood view
- Infiniti InTouch with Google built in
- ProPilot Assist 2.1
- Personalized ambient lighting with 64 colours
- Electronic air suspension

The QX80 is the first model designed using the latest evolution of Infiniti’s design language called Artistry in Motion.
“On the exterior, we held true to the evocative vision we established with the QX Monograph, and on the inside, we seamlessly integrated technology amongst the finest materials, to deliver a sense of extraordinary craftsmanship for all-three rows,” said Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president for global design, in a news release.
The vehicle welcomes the driver on approach. As you come toward the vehicle with the key fob, the flush door handles extend and a light show proceeds when the vehicle is unlocked with the Infiniti emblem illuminated, and includes what the company calls the Infiniti Light Path, a projection of light on the ground.

The driver gets a colour head-up display with key information in the driver’s eye. There’s a separate nine-inch touchscreen below the infotainment display for controls of climate features, front seat heating and cooling and various drive modes.
There are a total of eight USB-C ports, available to all three rows. All feature 3.0-amp power for rapid charging.
An available cool box in the centre console directs air conditioned air inside to chill what’s inside.
The first two rows get heated and cooled seats and the third row gets heated seats.
Massaging seats are now available to the second row, a first in a QX80, and are available to the front seats as well.
Font Wide View uses camera information to provide a wide, 170-degree view to the sides of the vehicle across both 14.3-inch displays. This allows the driver to see past parked cars or around corners in tight garages, Infiniti Canada says.
Invisible Hood View uses advanced image processing to take footage from the vehicle’s exterior camera to project an image of what’s directly in front of the vehicle onto the in-car displays. This means the driver could see as if through the engine bay.

The SUV also features a 3D Enhanced AroundView Monitor with moving object detection, a smart rear-view monitor and Journey Diary functionality, which captures photos or videos.
Front seat occupants can also use an in-car camera to look at the second-row seats in the infotainment display, and when the car is parked, you can use a smartphone app to check inside the vehicle, such as if you need to see if you left anything behind.
There are two Klipsch audio systems to choose from. Both were tailored for the vehicle by Infiniti and Klipsch engineers. One is a 600-watt system with 14 speakers, and the other is the Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio System with 24 speakers and 1,200 watts of power. There are even four speakers mounted in the roof.
Infiniti says cargo room behind the second-row seats is up 18 per cent over the outgoing model and space behind the third row has increased by 30 per cent. A motion-activated, hands-free power liftgate is standard, including an opening angle memory function to avoid hitting obstacles.

All models come with a 3.5 L twin-turbo engine with 415 hp and 515 lb.-ft. of torque. The motor is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which Infiniti says has a 40 per cent wider gear ration range, which improves acceleration and highway efficiency.
There are three trim levels to choose from. Luxe starts at $104,995, Sensory starts at $113,995, and the Autograph starts at $124,995, plus fees and taxes.
