The Canadian International AutoShow says the 2024 event was its best ever, in terms of attendance.
The 10-day event was visited by 371,559 people. The previous record of 358,842 was set in 2018. The auto show has been happening in Toronto for the past 51 years.
“With so many new brands adding to the roster of presenting manufacturers this year, an expanded indoor and outdoor test drive program and a diverse and well-presented series of features, our consumers came out in force,” said auto show general manager Jason Campbell in a news release. “We had positive word-of-mouth, media coverage and social media activity from early attendees, and that helped propel us to a strong finish and a new attendance record.”
Organizers say they are looking forward to the challenge of creating an even bigger and better show next year.
This year’s event had 44 automotive brands and 31 new vehicle debuts.
Organizers say the 2024 event also had the most diverse and unique collection of luxury and exotic vehicles.
The 2025 auto show is scheduled from Feb. 14 to 25.
