
There will soon be a large, luxury SUV capable of sprinting to 100 km/h in less than four seconds, and it won’t burn gas.
Jeep is introducing the Wagoneer S, an all-electric, premium SUV.
Sales are scheduled to begin in fall 2024 in the U.S. and then elsewhere in the world, the company announced Jan. 18. A Canadian date has not been provided.
This will be Jeep’s first global battery-electric vehicle.
The Wagoneer S will come with a 600 hp powertrain and Jeep estimates zero to 60 mph sprint times of about 3.5 seconds.
The Wagoneer S comes standard with 4xe capability with all-terrain management and advanced technology.
The seven-slot Jeep brand grill will be LED-lit.
Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, aims to become a carbon net zero corporation by 2038.
