Hyundai is introducing the Canadian public to two vehicles during the Montreal International Auto Show, which runs Jan. 19 to 28.
The all-new 2025 Ioniq 5 N and the 2024 Santa Fe will be available to the public at the show, as well as presented to media during a press day Thursday, Jan. 18.
The Ioniq 5 N is the performance variant of the Ioniq 5 electric vehicle. In the N version, the electric SUV comes with 641 hp and is capable of sprinting from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
This is Hyundai’s first electric vehicle developed by the company’s N performance division.

The next generation of the Santa Fe SUV sits on a longer wheelbase than the outgoing generation, comes standard with three rows of seating, and a hybrid powertrain comes standard.
The 2024 Santa Fe is available with a 1.6 L direct-injected, turbocharged hybrid powertrain with 232 hp and 271 lb. ft. of torque, or a 2.5 L direct-injected, turbocharged engine mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with an estimated output of 277 hp and 311 lb. ft. of torque.
“Québec is an extremely important market for Hyundai in Canada, particularly in terms of electrification. What better place and occasion to present two electrified Canadian debuts at the Montreal Auto Show, one being 100 per cent electric and the other coming standard with a hybrid powertrain,” said Don Romano, president and CEO of Hyundai Auto Canada, in a news release.
