Polaris updates Slingshot lineup for 2024

Three-wheeled vehicle offered in several trim levels, with a starting price of $39,199

Polaris has updated its Slingshot lineup and the 2024 vehicles will begin shipping to dealers early next year.

The Slingshot SL starts at $39,199 (freight and dealer fees included).

For those unfamiliar with the Slingshot, it is not a car; it is a side-by-side two-seater, three-wheeled motorcycle (or an autocycle) with an open cockpit, and forgoes many car safety features. It can be driven with a standard full-level driver’s licence in most Canadian provinces. Some provinces require a motorcycle endorsement, and riders must wear an approved helmet.

“We designed and developed the first Slingshot with a spirit of innovation and a drive to create something unlike anything else in the marketplace,” said Polaris Slingshot vice president Chris Sergeant in a Dec. 5 news release. “Over the past several years, it’s been incredible to grow Slingshot into a true lifestyle brand.”

For 2024, the three-wheelers get new new paint colours and graphics options.

The SL model gets a midnight charcoal metallic wheel colour. Customers can also personalize the wheels with an upgraded machine accent finish.

New this year are 200-watt Rockford Fosgate speakers that come standard on SL models and above.

The top-of-the-line model is the Slingshot ROUSH Edition. Built on the Slingshot R model with a 203 hp engine, the ROUSH Edition adds Brembo brakes with exclusive slotted rotors, a Slingshot Excursion top, Sparco pedal covers, and an exclusive race car-inspired steering wheel with color accents. It also features a special ROUSH graphics package, including seats with an exclusive design. If you opt for the manual transmission, the package also includes ROUSH Block R branding on the gear shift knob.

The ROUSH Edition starts at $52,599 with the manual transmission and $55,349 for the automatic.

You can also order factory accessories, including heated and cooled seats, upgraded audio, hard and soft tops and more.
