Subaru Canada is reporting sales growth over last year in Canada, along with the best-ever selling month for its Crosstrek.

The company sold 2,984 Crosstrek vehicles in the month of October. The crossover debuted in 2015 and is all new for the 2024 model year..

The Crosstrek’s sales numbers account for more than half of the company’s total vehicle sales in Canada as Subaru sold 4,796 vehicles last month. That’s up 19.8 per cent over October 2022.

Additionally, year-to-date sales totals for the company are up 22 per cent over the same time last year.

“Crosstrek had an exceptional October,” said Subaru Canada Inc. chairman, president and CEO Tomohiro Kubota. “It is increasingly encouraging to enter the final quarter of 2023 with strong monthly sales, getting Canadians into vehicles with class-leading safety, capability, and reliability.”

The company says the BRZ sports car had its best October ever, in terms of sales, with 92 of them sold in Canada.
